Getting ready for dinner with my niece’s future in-laws from West Virginia.
My sister’s dog, Arlo. My dogs stayed behind at the hotel with a friend.
Finally got to my sister’s house…she designed it herself.
Ended up making the acquaintance of a Lebanese doctor from Saudi Arabia. Shared a Lyft to a hotel in the city where we each had to get a room due to a multitude of snafus that happened during the day! With the windows down on the way there, it was a lovely, breezy ride after midnight.
Had to fly to NY for my niece’s bridal shower. Was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to business class. Saw the movie about Michael Jackson…it was great!
I just love how snuggly pigs are.
Had fun at the Alameda County Fair with a friend…always love eating the food, visiting the animals, and seeing the crafts.
Week 3: getting used to life at the hotel
No laundry at the hotel…cost $7.50 for the washer!
Been reuniting with some of my favorite places….had Greek food three times!
